Hey! I’m Naman, a Grade 12 IBDP student at Maple High School and CITL’s Co-President this year. When I’m not busy with school, you can usually find me hanging out with friends, running cross country, playing ultimate frisbee, or just relaxing. As the Co-President, I’m eager to lead the executive team and continue to spread the joy of chess to players of all ages and backgrounds.

Hi!! My name is Victoria and I’m a grade 11 student at Newmarket High School. Besides chess and school, I enjoy theatre, reading and music. This year, I’m looking forward to being CITL’s Co-President, where I’ll be managing and leading CITL!

Blog post #1: Hi everyone, I’m Vikrant! I’m a high school junior who’s eager to write content for CITL. In my free time after my brutal, grueling full-time job lifting rooks, I also lift controllers, weights, and pencils. I look forward to bringing narrative tournament recaps, instructional posts, and torturously bad chess puns to CITL’s blog.

My name is Irene Nguyen and I am a rising junior at my school! I am a graphic designer for Chess in the Library. A little fun fact about me is that I play the clarinet and am a senior student in my school orchestra, a position I never thought I would reach when I was a freshman. In my free time I love to binge watch anime, write letters, workout, and let my mind run wild! Love to be apart of CITL this year! 🙂

Joshitha is a Grade 11 student at North Toronto Collegiate Institute and is the Education and Events Director for Chess in the Library. She is excited to combine her love for chess and teaching to make this year fun for everyone involved.
